The ITLA Street Law Clinic is designed to provide on-the-spot legal advice to walk-in clients on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. The Clinics will be staffed with law students from Concordia University School of Law and the University of Idaho College of Law as well as supervising attorneys. The Equal Justice Committee includes local attorneys and leaders of refugee and immigrant communities. The Committee meets on a monthly basis to hear presentations on legal subjects that are helpful to the communities and to determine legal issues to be considered at future meetings. The meetings are generally held on the last Friday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Presentations include how the criminal and civil justice systems work, immigration issues, housing issuing, family law issues, government assistance programs, employment issues, credit transactions, malicious harassment, and starting a business. Presentations are conducted by respected lawyers in the community.
